AI consulting for business owners · St. Louis, MO

Your AI stack should be making you money. Let's make sure it is.

If you're building an AI-driven business — or you've already wired up OpenClaw, Claude, or a half-dozen tools and aren't seeing the revenue payoff — this is where you stop guessing. A focused 60-minute consultation with a senior engineer: 5+ years building AI systems, 10+ years shipping production software. We'll find what's actually moving the needle, kill what isn't, and leave you with a plan that turns your AI investment into top-line growth.

Sound like you?

Every founder I work with is trying to turn AI into revenue, not a science project. If any of these line up, an hour of my time will pay for itself many times over.

If only…
I knew which AI features would actually drive revenue in my business.
If only…
I could get OpenClaw running properly without learning a whole new stack.
If only…
someone could look at my setup and tell me where the money is leaking.
If only…
my AI workflows stopped dropping messages and losing customer context.
If only…
I knew which integrations would 10x output and which are vanity hype.
If only…
I had a senior engineer with real AI shipping experience to sanity-check the plan.

What I help with

Five-plus years building AI systems and a decade in production engineering means I can speak to either side of the table — the strategy and the wiring. Most calls fall into one of these buckets; if yours doesn't, ask anyway.

AI revenue strategy

Where AI actually moves the needle in your business model — and which "AI features" are theater. Vendor-agnostic advice from someone with no quotas to hit and 5+ years of shipping receipts.

OpenClaw setup & integration

Get OpenClaw running on your hardware and wired into the channels your customers already live in (WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, iMessage, web chat). Working, reliable, and actually answering the right questions.

AI workflows that scale

Turn one-off prompts into systems that hold up under real customer volume. Multi-step agents, tool use, context management, evals — the stuff that decides whether your AI generates revenue or apologies.

Self-hosting & infrastructure

Running your own AI stack without it failing on a Tuesday afternoon. Docker, networking, backups, monitoring — the unglamorous things that protect your margins.

Security & data hygiene

Where your customers' data goes, who can see it, and what to lock down before it bites you. My open-source career started with a vulnerability scanner — I take this seriously.

Second opinions & sanity checks

Already have a developer, contractor, or agency? I'll review the work, sanity-check the architecture, and tell you whether the path you're paying for actually ends in a profitable product.

Who you'd be working with

No agency, no account manager, no junior engineer assigned to your ticket. You book the call, you talk to me.

Justyn Temme
Senior Software Engineer · NextWave Solutions LLC

I've spent the last 5+ years building AI systems — agents, retrieval pipelines, model integrations, and the infrastructure underneath them — on top of 10+ years shipping production software. Distributed systems, developer tooling, security infrastructure, and the integrations that hold real businesses together. My first open-source contribution was to a vulnerability scanner; I've since contributed to projects in the Docker and Go ecosystems and shipped tools used by engineers around the world.

What that means for you: I've seen which AI bets actually pay off and which ones quietly drain a budget. I know the difference between a demo and a system that survives real customers. I'll tell you what I'd do if it were my company — in language that doesn't require a CS degree to follow.

I'm based in St. Louis, Missouri and work with clients across the U.S. and internationally. You can find my open-source work at github.com/justyntemme.

How it works

Simple, transparent, and designed so you walk away with something useful — not a sales pitch.

  1. Book and pay the $99 consultation fee

One-click checkout below. The fee covers my time and filters out tire-kickers so I can give every paying client my full attention.

  2. You'll receive a follow-up email with scheduling instructions

Typically within one business day. The same email asks for a little context up front — screenshots, error messages, what you're trying to accomplish — so we hit the ground running.

  3. We meet for 60 minutes

Live video call. Screen-share if you want to. I'll diagnose, recommend, and where it's small enough, fix things in real time.

  4. You get a written follow-up

Within 48 hours: a summary of what we covered, the recommendations, and a clear next-step list you (or your team) can act on. Yours to keep.

One simple price

No retainers, no minimums, no surprise invoices. Pay once, get the call, decide later if you want more.

Common questions

I'm not technical. Will I be able to follow the call?

Yes — that's a big part of what I do. I work with business owners every week who don't write code, and I'll match the conversation to your level. If something needs jargon, I'll explain it. If you want me to just “handle it,” we can do that too.

What if my problem isn't OpenClaw or AI-related?

Bring it anyway. I've worked across infrastructure, security, web systems, integrations, and developer tooling. If it's outside what I can genuinely help with, I'll tell you on the intake form before the call — you won't be charged.

Can I bring my whole team?

Up to three people on the call is fine — bring whoever needs to hear it. Larger team sessions or workshops are a separate engagement; ask me about it on the call.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Send yours over after booking and I'll have it signed before our call. For most engagements a mutual NDA is fine; I have a standard one I can send if you'd prefer.

What time zones do you work in?

I'm based in U.S. Central Time (St. Louis) and accommodate clients across U.S. and international time zones. After booking, you'll receive a follow-up email with available times that work for both of us.

Stop guessing. Start building a system that pays.
